This session tells the story of Gabie's inquiry experiment this year: What happens when an elementary school teacher uses Traditional Chinese Medicine's, 5 Element Theory to map a classroom structure to organize workspaces, furniture, visual displays, and accents to help meet the specific needs of the classroom community learning therein. You will leave with a basic map of the 5 elements to help you design your experiments to move the energy of your classroom. The results intend to create a sense of balance and well-being that can not only be seen through the senses but felt in the spirit of the learning community working in that space.
